If you build up a Pre Cursa with decent parts, it will weigh around 8 kg.

Re: Ramtips för nytt projekt !
No, it's not suicide. It's just a very expensive and not very original choice of frame. If I were to spend that kind money I would try and find a frame that 20 other people in my town didn't have. I would rather, as people have suggested, buy a good but relatively cheap frame (not VISP!) and leave s...

Re: Ramtips för nytt projekt !
Tänkte också säga visp, men dom verkar inte finnas kvar på ebay ? med planet x 20mm fälgar (24h fram 24h bak), kan du bygga ihop ett lätt hjulpar med en vikt på ca 1.3kg, (med riktiga bannav), utan att dräpa plånboken Nice to see that people are still encouraging noobs to build tubular wheels. So t...

Maybe you only squeezed the rear triangle on one side when you tightened the tracknuts?

Isn't it possible to remove that big spacer thing on the left and replace it with an equal amount of normal spacers on each side?

Re: damp ram - sadelstolpsproblem
There are a couple of Earbeard owners mentioned in this thread. http://www.fixedgear.se/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4530 Try to pm one of them? Bubblan certainly looks like somebody who would know.

With all due respect, this is not good advice.NKDMS wrote:Om stolpen är .2 mm för stor kan du ju alltid slipa stolpen. Bättre än att slipa i ramen.
He should just get a properly sized seatpost for his bike.

Re: Tips på hjulset
I just replaced my Mavic Ellipse rear wheel with a Halo Aerotrack and I can verify that it is a wheel of very high quality. Actually the construction of the hub is the most brilliant I've seen. The bearings are smooth and absolutely drag free, and judging from the way they are sealed, it must be imp...

Well ... If you call or e-mail Track Bike Shop, I'm sure they can stick a couple of locknuts in the mail.

Re: Låsmutter alt. axelset till miche primato
I think my wording was derived from my personal knowledge of Mustafa who is such a cute little hobbit type character. Hence the phrase "in his little shop". I can see how somebody else could interpret that in the wrong way.

I see you're trying to put some kind of racist words in my mouth. That's pretty dumb. I am a not a racist, so please go look for conflicts elsewhere.
The remark about Mustafa was only that even a very small independent repair shop with no specialist stock carried the locknut.

Re: Låsmutter alt. axelset till miche primato
The locknuts on the Primato hubs often break. Track Bike Shop in Copenhagen carry them as spares for, I think, 10 or 15 DKR. It is a fairly standard component, though, so most normal bike shops should have some lying around. I'm surprised you can't find them anywhere. Even my local immigrant bike re...

Re: Kedja spänd sen slak
Warranty Returns If items are deemed to be defective we will only accept returns it the item is UNOPENED and UNUSED. Dumt nog såg jag ju först efter jag packat upp lådan att cykeln saknade delar, och sedan när jag cyklade på den märkte jag att den var skev också. So you have to determine any defect...

Re: Kedja spänd sen slak
A 1cm fluctuation is actually quite good. I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure to set your chain at its tightest spot before tightening it.
